I have decided 2 move to a new blog http://soulkonekshen.blogspot.com/
So feel free to stop by… *Winks*
It was midnight and I was tired. Ayah said lets go home to get some stuff for your mom. My Mom was admitted to the hospital because she had stomach pains and she was carrying a new member of the family.
I remember it so clearly like it was yesterday. We got home and cleaned up and then the phone rang. My Mom had given birth to a premature baby. I was so happy I felt a tear drop. We rushed to the hospital. My grandparents were there already.
The nurse greeted us and invited my dad to visit his newly born daughter. My Dad invited me to come along. I was so excited. I had a new baby sister. The newest and latest addition to Mas AFSNA.
Premature at 7 months. She was in an incubator. She was so small and the nurse told us she would have to stay under observation for at least 2 to 3 weeks. I was sad to hear the news but it was for her own good.
The moment I saw her I wanted to cry. I was the first amongst my siblings to see her. My father performed the Azan. I just stared at her. I skipped school that day. But I ranged my friends and told them I won’t be coming to school because I was tired and I had a new sister.
Sixteen March Ninteen Ninty Eight. Thats the day Mas Zatun Amiratul Adillah was born.
I remember saying to her, while she was in the incubator, that I promised to be the best brother she ever had and I would love her and teach her to be a very bright and sweet girl.
She is smart and sweet and she’s my baby sister. She is in primary three at St.George’s and also attending ugama school. But with the disease thats out at the moment she’s at home. And she ‘LOVES’ pink.
Adillah, Abang Loves you very much. Happy birthday!!!
Challenges are the things that make life *click*. For without it Life will be such a bore as if we go through life as programmed clones. However these hurdles should be seen as a way of push one’s self to the limit, to the max. Because I believe you have to enjoy life. Indeed we have other priorities such as studying and working. But as the spice girls once proclaimed and made it a chart topper "Spice Up You Life".
My tale for today is about something I have taken to heart. A desire, a passion, a craving to taste victory once again.
Everyone wants to win. No one likes to be the loser but at times things never go your way and you do end up on the losing side. But What does make a winning team? Any Ideas?
A lot of things make a winning formula. ‘Luck’ would be the very last thing you may add to a winning formula. Because without hardwork, dedication and passion one will never achieve a win.
Today I was responsible for bring my group of girls into battle. A battle which I thought eventhough the chance was ultimately slim, I firmly believe we stood a chance. Or perhaps I had put my hopes too high, and in the end it ate me up. Did my girls fight? Honestly, most fought for their lives, with pride and passion and for some others I figure was my own fault for taking them aboard. I hate myself at the present time. I hate the outcome as I had to hold my own tears when the name of my school was not called out. I hate the fact that I could not do anything to comfort my girls as I saw them fall into tears. My heart is broken.
Wot can I do? Perhaps over awed by the whole event some of them forgot that they went there to sing.
$#!T happens… Today has made me want to prove myself even more. I know my girls can sing. Given the opportunity I know that they could do it witout a doubt. But bygones be bygones.
Did we not deserve to go to the finals? I guess I’ll never know. Maybe we should, maybe we shouldn’t.

Its Mid Feb and wot a start to two-Double-O-Six. So many things have happened recently and everyday something new is bound to happen. My days are so full and I admit I like to make myself busy. But there are times when my frustration gets the better of me and I can’t seem to hold down my anger. I have no idea whats wrong with me.
Am I a perfectionist? Not a pure perfectionist but to the best of my ability. I want, not just good, but better and the best.
I can scream to the top of my lungs if I wanted but I wouldn’t. I have no clue where this hatered came from. But its really bugging me. Its seems as if everything, every little thing could make my blood boil.
I need to learn to calm down. But how do I do it? I was really annoyed this afternoon during practice. I had given them a pep-talk before their trainers came but to my surprise they were still talkative. Have they no clue how this is important for me. I want them to sing the best that they could. Voices combined to One. Not One in Voices. Show da other schools that you can do it. Do it for you. Do it for your school.
I’m still frustrated. I wish I could help them but I can only supervise. I can sing solo but not in a group. Well maybe I could. The good old days in MD, wah… We’d chill till 4 in da afternoon before footy pratice and just sit anywhere and start singing in accapella. Belaian Jiwa was our favourite. I would do da verse bit, sometimes backup. It was all good, all fun. Those were the days.
Happy Thoughts!!! Call down!! Do I need anger management? Hope not… This is just pourin out a small piece of my brain. An outlet for my current frustrations.
Next Post: Stay Tuned….
Ole! Ole! Ole! Teddy! Teddy! Teddy!
Bayern players falling to their knee’s… Tears falling down their eyes as the referee blew da final whistle and Peter Schmichael had played his final match for ‘the greatest football club of the decade’…
Manchester United lifts the European Champions League for the treble… Nineteen Ninty Nine…
Last night at the Theater of Dreams, the Red Devils broke another teams record. First it was stopping the unbeaten run of the Gunners, then the Blues and last night the Mighty Reds.
‘Five Times!!’ boasted the Kop Travellers reminding the manchunians of their European triumph. But as history had provided some of the best between the two there was small room for error from both teams. As a minimal lapse in judgement and concentration would cost them the game.
After the departure of the lanky crouch, Liverpool looked really toothless in attack. But really both sides lacked the cutting edge in attack. Even Ruud has very few chances so credit to both defences.
Liverpool had a goal cleared of the line from Rio and Cisse needs contacts because he blew Liverpool’s very chance of scoring a goal.
Earlier that night during dinner, my fiance’s father asked me who was going to win last night? and I told him there were only two possibilities. One - Liverpool beating Man U by 2-0. Two - Man U winning by just One goal 1-0. And I explained that a draw was not on the cards as both teams really needed to win to have a stronger hold on second spot for the automatic CL spot for next season.
And since Liverpool’s two chances had gone begging, somewhere I felt that Man U were just going to nick it in the end. And they Did!!! Rio’s unmarked run in the 6-yard box to power a thumping header from a Giggsy freekick on 89:58. Amazing!!!
Liverpool fans all around the world were struck in awe as to how their team could have lost a game which they dominated in the first-half. Annoyed that Benzy had gone for just a draw the moment he took-off crouch for a dead leg.
Personally that win last night will be one I will remember for a long time as I have never felt so happy, joyful, in cloud 9, GAY since Man U lifted the Champions League for the Treble. It was not a cup final nor was it a title decider but the triumph over Man U’s long time and bitter rivals will always be a tremendous feat!

Greetings Reader/s,
How has the new year treated you so far? Wishin’ u a good and prosperous year ahead. May u take that big step forward to realising one of your many goal/s and dream/s.
My first 2 weeks have been troublesome for me as I brought it upon myself to suffer from such state. A state of being uncapable of owning and driving ones own ride. I had sent my ride for some beauty treatment 2 days before new years n was expecting it to be ready in one week. But little did I know that my A.Keys was in need of some serious facial uplift after a long time.
So off it went to da spray shop. One week passed and my god how I dreaded adding da bodykit. One week and one day still waiting. I lost hope. So I didn’t bother calling or visiting till da supposed due date of completion. Da day arrived and it was da day before we were going to celebrate Hari Raya Aidil Adha. And yes u guessed it, A.Keys was still not ready for pick up. Well jus 85% complete. N I made them promise to finish it by Thrusday.
Thursday arrived and after work, Alex was kind enough to give me a ride home and didn’t mind stopping by da shop to check up on A.Keys. And yes 95% complete and I knew I was gonna take her home a lil’bit later dat day.
At 4 p.m. A.Keys was cleaned and was on its way to SHHP Shop to install my new Carbing Top Front Strut Bars. Friday was a day of pampering A.Keys as I took her to her home for regular service and I need to send her next month for an extended check up since A.Keys is already 2 years old. Then I took her to da Car Spa a.k.a Zymol/Swissol autocare in G-Town for a nice bath a.k.a cuci luar dalam.
While waitin for A.keys to b done I went for a walk around gadong to look for breakfast and I was undecided. There was McD, Do-Me, Dynasty but I came across singapore’s mee goreng merah at Fathur Razak Restaurant next to Pondok PiJa. My fave Singapore mee is here in Brunei… yeaaaa…
So a lil’bit of Singapore is here. But still don’t beat being there. *LOL* and I also manage to get a copy of January’s Stuff Singapore from booker.
Now life is back to normal but online is totally different story. Adi asked me how to play da crims so I tot him. It was fun teachin him that I decided to play it myself. Now I have my own gang of Bruneians only, Pendekar-Pendekar Antam Saja La. There are currently 6 of us already in da gang and if u are interested holler me ahight. And I’ll invite u to my gang and we can show these ppl how good Bruneians can get at online games. But if u dun have a clue about wot i’m jibbering about, make yur way to www.thecrims.com.
I’ve mentioned thecrims.com in a post i did last year in september. SO if u wanna know more jus go through my archives. It’ll tell u a lil’ some some about thecrims.
So have fun peeps n hope u have a nice sunday.
Crazy would not come close to describing the week I just had… Well maybe it would…
It all started on the 4th, the second day back at work, and my fiance’s one and only beloved nephew celebrated his 1st B’day. We celebrated n it was just fun. He had his first cake, an elmo cake, with toffee flavour I think.
My Fiance was gonna celebrate her’s da day after, on the 6th. So I had ample time to get all her gifts and plan an unforgettable, yet mischievous, 25th Birthday.
N I pulled off one of da best surprises for her ever. Over the years she’s managed to surprise me n this year it was her turn to feel special. A double, back-2-back, surprise b’day for my Boo.
Didn’t start da ‘assault’ until the evening of the actual day. Since ‘A-Keys’ was in da shop gettin a face-lift, Zara was gonna pick me up. When she picked me up I gave her, her presents. Da big ones to carry and I carried the small one. I knew that all the presents she was gonna receive, were the ones she wanted n needed. I won’t disclose the items but there was one gift which I put my heart into and it made her drop a few tears, and I knew it would. It was a small book with writings on it and I had 2R prints of us together and individual pictures and it was like a little photo album and she loved it. As I knew it would.
Then as promised I would take her shopping for the birthday shoes at C&K, so we went to da Manggis Mall. Wanted to have a quick dinner at Sugar Bun but there were too many customers and not wanting to wait we proceeded to C&K and she got her shoes. We had our dinner at KFC. I was gettin a lil anxious because it was gettin a bit late and I really wanted to surprise her. I had bought da cake in advance and kept it at her place in the afternoon. She didn’t know about the cake. And I knew my surprise was gonna work.
We went back to her place around 10 and I went to her room. I texted her brother to tell them to get ready and they were. Lights switched off, only brightened by the candles on her 25th B’day cake. She opened the door and ‘Happy Birthday 2 U~~~~~….’ filled the room as we sang her b’day song.
Assault One completed.
Second surprise was to happen the day after. On the 7th. She was to go out with her girls and have an afternoon chill session at ‘Biji Kupi’ at G-Town. Zan had approached me in advance about a possible surprise. So, Assault Two was planned.
The timing was perfect and it all went to plan. I went to pick up the cake and proceeded to ‘Biji Kupi’. Her cake was a star by itself. A Doir handbang replica Cake, in blue and purple.
I called Juice to assist me. Was a waste to light the candles as it was windy outside. Nomi, Mun, Muh and Mona were also present and were also in for the surprise. I carried the cake and they started singing and ‘ta-daaaa’. Assault Two Completed. I was so happy it all turned out the way I wanted it to happen and thanks to everyone involved.
The same night, we were to attend the PETERPAN concert at the indoor stadium. I was excited coz its been a while since I went to one and I had really high expectations about the concert. Blown away by Putri when she belted ‘If I ain’t got U’ and PeterPan were panning the pans hahahahahaha. But really they were brilliant. The moment they sang ‘Mimpi yang sempurna’ everyone was singing along to it and that was just brilliant. How an unknown Indonesian band a few years ago was introduced by a radio DJ to the listeners of the station and is now one of the biggest act here. And I am happy to know that person, thank you for introducing ‘PeterPan’.
Yesterday was just a ‘Chill’ Day. Nothing mischievous, nothing out of the ordinary, just plain sunday and had a short footy session with the ‘Bee Seng House No.2 Family’ at their cribs and am really interested to get myself a pair of Adidas Predators. Any model will do. So will see how that turns out.
Now in da second week of work and I’m settling in quite well in the staffroom after 2 years of being here.
